Valley United Co-op is seeking a team member for our C-Store in Halstad, MN.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Till operation

Estimated hours will be from 1:45 – 9pm (close) 4 days a week

Agronomy Operations-Floater - Climax, MN

Valley United Coop is seeking a full-time floater/agronomy operations person for our Climax, MN location. This role will primarily be responsible for the maintenance of facilities and equipment as well as warehouse duties, seed treating, blending fertilizer, and some custom application. You will be working with the location manager, shop foreman, and agronomy staff to determine which duties are the highest priority on any given day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
  • Deliver products to customer locations.
  • Maintain a clean tractor and trailer.
  • Operate a floater.
  • Off-season fertilizer plant maintenance
  • Assist in receiving dry and liquid fertilizers.
  • Application of fertilizer to varied crops based on customer orders.
  • Treat seed and blend liquid and dry fertilizer
  • Assist in order assembly and delivery of wholesale chemical.
  • Assist in receiving inventory.
  • Assist in order assembly and delivery of the product.
  • Basic service of agronomy fleet including trucks, sprayers, and floater equipment
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items or safety concerns and perform preventative maintenance.

Education and Experience Required:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Must possess a CDL license with HazMat/tanker endorsement or the ability to obtain.
  • Hold or be able to obtain a Medical Card issued by an FMCSA Certified Doctor
  • Must be able to meet all FMCSA requirements to drive a tractor-trailer.
  • Ability to work long hours during our busy season (home every night)
  • Acceptable Driving Record

Valley United Coop is seeking a seasonal CDL driver/agronomy operations person.  This role will primarily be responsible for the safe transport of various cargo as assigned by the agronomy location manager. You will be working with the VUC team to determine which duties are the highest priority on any given day. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  • Deliver products to customer locations.
  • Maintain a clean tractor and trailer.
  • Assist in receiving inventory.
  • Assist in order assembly and delivery of the product.
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items or safety concerns and perform preventative maintenance.
