<h5>Our Spotlight Employee this month is Jennifer Skold, she also goes by Jenny or Jen. Jenny is the Human Resources Controller. She started working for Valley United Co-op in 2011. She is originally from Reynolds, ND. Jenny has one adult son and a grand dog! One of her biggest accomplishments in life is getting out of bed every day. Her first Job was buttering toast at the Beehive in Reynolds. One of her hobbies is taking scenic pictures and she is excellent at it. What does Jenny love about Valley United? &quot;My co-workers are amazing. Everyone takes pride in their work. We&#39;re like a family, always willing to help each other.&quot; Valley United is extremely lucky to have Jenny on the team.&nbsp;</h5>

The 2024 Spring Wheat harvest/crop has been challenging. Markets are near their lowest levels in 5 years. Interest rates are up substantially from a few years ago, and input costs are up. Now we are in the middle of a quality issue that is negatively impacting the value of our wheat crop.
Valley United & Thompson Farmers Elevator Vote to Merge

Members of both Valley United Co-op & Thompson Farmers Elevator Company voted to merge on Wednesday, September 6th. Patrons of the Cooperative approved the merger after the boards of directors decided it would be beneficial and scheduled a vote.
